Is there a way for Skyrim owners to buy Skyrim Legendary Edition for a lower cost?
Hello everyone :)
I'm new here (this is my first post) so I'm sorry if someone already asked about this topic.
I already own Skyrim and the Hearthfire DLC for a long time and I think it's unfair that people who already has the game and some of it's DLC's (like me) should pay for the whole package. Do you think there should be a way (or is there a way) to somehow "upgrade" to the legendary edition?
I mean to pay the price for the DLC's I don't have (it doesn't make any sense to pay for DLC's I already own) without buying them seperatly.
What do you think?

You only have to buy Dragon born and Dawnguard to ''upgrade'' to nothing but the game + DLC.
There's nothing ''Legendary'' about the bundle. The patch update that Bethesda issued which you should have had updated automatically by Steam IS the Legendary content.

In your game, press pause, then look at bottom left corner of your menu. You will see a series of numbers beginning with 1.9.

Also, go to settings in game menu, and scroll through difficulty settings, if Legendary difficulty is there, ta-da.....you are good.

You only have 2 DLC's to buy and you are complete my friend.

Alright thanks ;)
The prices of Dawnguard and Dragonborn are very expensive in my opinion so I guess I'm just a little disappointed because I first bought Skyrim when it came out for 60$ and now you can buy it with all the DLC's for the same price xD
yeah. thing is, you can modify your game and have hours of fun without even touching the DLC.

I have over a thousand hours in my game and I haven't done any DLC yet!!! :D

I bought the Legendary Edition during the Steam Summer Sale for $29.99

If you think the DLC's are too much to purchase individually, then wait for the next weekend or seasonal sale to get the prices down lower. That's what I did.
Yep..Pretty much my sentiment too.

Mods in the meantime, will keep you busy till the price falls, OP.

You could say that you payed a "premium" to get the dlcs. Now they are all bundled with the base game for less. Its like getting the dlcs "early" and eventually a few months later, they are bundled for far less.

You might be able to mark them on your wishlist. If you can, Steam will email you a notification when they go on sale again so you don't miss it.

Or if you're really lucky, a person on your friend's list will see it on your wishlist and gift them to you..... Or trade.
