The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Vezi statistici:
Top 10 Reasons Why the Elder Scrolls Online will probably suck...
These are my reasons why Elder Scrolls Online will probably suck:
1. The text-chat will ruin immersion.
2. There will be those annoying people spamming trade requests on the text-chat.
3. Hackers, hackers everywhere.
4. There will probably be a high chance of the player-base being people who never even played Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim because Elder Scrolls Online is F2P.
5. Story will probably be bland due to multi-player.
6. There's no freaking Nazeem or Nelkar.
7. You're just an ordinary adventurer, unlike in Skyrim, you're the Dovahkiin, while in Oblivion, you become a legend by defeating the Oblivion crisis.
8. You cannot mod it (none of your favorite Skyrim mods like SkyUI, SkyRE, etc.)
9. Judging by the graphics in the E3 demo (which I went to), it's more worse than vanilla Skyrim's graphics (probably due to multiplayer).

Also how are they going to pull off exploring all of Tamriel? Considered Skyrim was approximately 11 gigabytes in size, it would have to be 50~ gigabytes in size to fulfill what it claims to accomplish!
I don't plan on getting it either... It couldn't be a proper elder scrolls game as an MMO. It will just be some other game stealing from TES lore.
I think ist nearly the same, when this is a singleplayer game, because it is 1000 years bevor skyrim and is it so terible that there players the no played skyrim arena,or the other 3?.
(Sorry for my bad englisch)

Can we add other reasons? O_o;

11) No player homes.

Also, do you have evidence that it will be f2p? Most places are assuming it will not be f2p. I also saw an article that claimed that the pay-to-play model was confirmed, though I'm not sure I trust that article XD.

They say they might add player homes. And payment model has not been confirmed.

Do you have a link on the player homes being added? I haven't been able to find anything that wasn't speculative >.<

Well it is speculative. That's why I said might =P. But might doesn't mean no. Or yes. It means might.

I meant something concrete on player housing being added later. It was confirmed that it wouldn't be put in - I assumed you meant that you found something hinting that it might be added in a later expansion or update =/.

Which would be nice ^^

edit: I retract my statement. Looked again and the confirmation I found before has been retracted by the sources ><

After several years of being in love with online gaming, especially in MMORPGs. Somehow, somewhere along, something somehow totally change my mind and perception about online gaming. Now I am actually prefer offline games.
^^^
1. Boohoo. You will most likely be able to turn it off.
2. You do not know that. We do not even know how the trade system will work.
3. Do you see hackers in WoW, GW2? No.
4.a. No one has said that ESO if F2P.
4.b. And so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what? If anything, it will attract more people to ESO.
5. Not even a point.
6. ...
7. Obviosly, you do not know ♥♥♥♥ about ESO. You are the "soulless". Your soul was stolen and you wish to reclaim it.
8. Thats too bad. Thats a sacrifice for MMORPG. You will most likely still be able to mod the UI, just like in WoW.
9. Graphics are not bad. They are more cartoonish, but not bad as such. There are good shaders, good effects.
10. Boo-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-hoo. So there were none of those in Morrowind. But it is still an awesome game.
i hope is it f2p
I hope it is not.
I wish it will be subscription based.
I'll just stick to Skyrim. I don't need random tools ruining my fun, and there's more than enough content for it to keep me entertained for a long long while.

That and I'm antisocial when it comes to my games.

I've just watched some gameplay footage on the quakecon vid. And i have to say from what i've seen, it looks pretty good, but looking good is one thing playing good is another, but again the gameplay looked pretty good to me too. But what do i know, i've never played an mmo or mmorpg, so i have nothing to compare it to. However from what i've just seen i might just might give it a go.......So to sumarize i think will do anything except suck...

Not one right in this list... Go look up features on ESO. They got some good features on its online side so you play with who you want on its mega server so say bye bye to random lil kids who plays WoW and joins ESO or ppl who dont know what ES is. You pick who you play with by a list you answer before you join a server or however they do it. ESO will pwn and who said no mods? WoW has mods so duz many mmos. SkyUI might be on ESO just not armor or weaps maybe if they are just skin retextures only and maybe we will get CBBE or UNP and the male Ver bodys so we can see some weepeens and boobies. Beth knows how moding made their games live longer so why not let modding in their mmo as long its not stat changing or w/e.

They said during a interview that if it's skyrim you're looking for then The Elder Scrolls Online isn't for you, so...
