Steam Workshop Mods Help
So I have only just taken up pc gaming and have not much clue about anything, can anyone tell me how to get the steam workshop mods to run? I subscribed to a few of them and they are in my data files section, but now every time I run the game it crashes unless I have all of the mods unticked. It will only run vanilla. Do I need SKSE or something else? Please help.

Read the descriptions of every mod you install. If it says that SKSE is required, then yes, obviously it is. If none of the mods you downloaded mentioned this however, then it's likely a mod conflict. These can sometimes be solved by correcting the load order, but otherwise you should always only install one mod at a time. Install a mod, then start skyrim to see if that one works. THEN you can install another, and repeat the process. Otherwise you will end up in a situation where you might have over 50 mods installed, with no clue which one is the source of the mod conflict.

With that said, let's move on to what you are actually interested in: "What the **** do I do NOW?!"

1) Download and run BOSS, that will fix your load order automatically

If you where lucky, that was all that was needed. Run Skyrim to seeifit works. If it doesn't, go to the next step.

2) You need to find the source ofthe mod conflict. Which means, you need to uninstall each mod one at a time, and run the game for each one you uninstall. Do this until skyrim works again without crashing. When it works, it means that the last mod you uninstaled was the source of the conflict. Remove that one, and then you can again reinstall all the other mods again.
