Pros of siding with the Imperials?
In my playthrough of Skyrim, I have recently completed the Stormcloak's questline. Basically, I was just wondering if it was worth me loading up an old save in order to side with the Imperials?

I don't like the Imperials, I never side with the Imperials, it's a moral choice for me. All in all I dont think there is any perks to it.

I have played both, and I have done the Stormcloak rout more, but I have to say that the Imperials are more fun, have a better station (Solitude), and just look better over all for the roll playing aspect, kind of Roaman like.

Hey, we need a strong empire to be able to defeat the Thalmor, right? So join the Imperials and help re-uniting the empire to make it stronger!

Most logical indeed.

It feels good to side with the good guys :-)

Skyrim has the Dragonborn, All Thailmor and Imperials better run for their lives. The Stormcloaks have a lot of females in their army many not bad to look at.

I thought the Stormcloakss were bad so i did the good thing and became a righteous Imperial :)

actually I sorta agree with the stormcloak thing but I sorta like imperial side at the same time to.. you get the acception of the thalmor witch can come in handy so... and personally I think the vioces of the imperial soldiers sound better then the stormcloaks... either way it's not a matter of witch is stronger I had a character that went and devastes both imperial AND stormcloak camps. (I was bored and that day and that was a chracter I felt like messing up ) again my opinion is that the inperials look better armor wise so I like the stormcloaks and imperials the same it's mianly what your personal opinion of witch side to choose. I've played the stormcloak storyline all the way through and found that having the leader of a rebelion over many miles and a guy who can shout and almost literally able to shout someone apart (like with the high king) cool but if Tuluis is strong enough (not to mention brave engough) to stand up to him then I thin kthey're both pretty powerful and that they change and enhance the playing of skyrim. the choice of chosing a side in a game and seeing the resaults and experiencing the results is unlike anything I've seen in any game before.

The developers purposefully made it a gray area so that we wouldn't feel like we made the WRONG choice no matter who we sided with. They both have their arguements as to who is right or not but honestly just choose who you like more. However.. At the same time there is a 3rd option you could pick.. No its not be the thalmor or something stupid like that its a REAL choice. I won't say what but if you go through the main quest without finishing the civil war you will see what I mean. :) imo that is the best choice for Skyrim.

Imperials. I don't want to attack whiterun because it's just a little town. He killed the high king too, i just want him dead.

I don't know if this guy was asking for peoples moral preferences when he asked about perks of Imperials. No perks it is just picking what type of guards you want in each city. Appearance preferences essentially

the empire has a deal with the thalmor . the white gold concordat . so when you think about it the bad things that the thalmor do can be added to the empires bad reputation like when you get attacked by a random thalmor group who isnt transporting a prisoner the empire is on there side...

join the storm cloaks and kill more in random encounters where guards are escorting a prisoners and take there stuff and sell it in solitude so you can buy a house . its actually a easy method if you like to run around

In my opinion the Imperials are better. The Stormcloaks were founded because some believed that they were fighting for the Emporer(s) and getting nothing in return. Quite honestly that's some baby whining. That's the way it ALWAYS worked back in the day. You lived in a place where a jarl/knight was there to protect the people. But at the same time anyone who is a soldier is there to protect his king. That's pretty obvious. The Emporer did nothing wrong but command his military to protect their land and someone didn't like that they weren't getting anything out of it. I have only chosen the Stormcloaks once and doubt I will ever again.

I usually side with the Imperials (Imps) because the Empire is what is keeping the Thalmor out of Skyrim, not to mention the fact that they are not complete racists, like the Stormcloaks. The Stormcloaks belive that Skyrim belongs to the Nords, and that only Nords may live there. The Empire belives that all races should coexsist peaccefully and live alongside one another. I don't support racism, so I don't support the Cloaks. If the Aldameri Dominion controls Skyrim, they would try to take over Cyrodiil and the Imp Capital. I never liked the elves and I still hate them.

That was a racist statement you made at the end lol
