How long is the wait for 200 mods?
I'm just curious as to how long the wait is for when you launch the launcher and it downloads 200 mods. Does anyone have experience with this?

steam workshop makes you wait, but the Nexus does not make you wait.

It depends on how fast your internet connection is.

I wouldn't be worried about how long it takes to download them.. i'd be more concerned about how long it will take for your next save to go **** up.

It's going to be a nightmare for you trying to figure out which mod is causing instability when something inevitably goes wrong, if you're downloading them all at once...but hey, it's your game..

Doesnt really effect the load up much at all if im honest

I got 278 at present and when i load the game up it loads just the same as it did before

The only real problem i get with so many mods is that 2-10 times if i try and load a game up it sometimes wont load and just stays on the loading screen

This is my i have autosave on and make multi saves after i have done something or been somewere. It doesnt happen a lot just best being safe than sorry

I had 250+ mods for a time but deleted them all because i had some significant fps drops but waiting for them in laucher takes awhile. My computers slow so i watched an episode of american dad and it was just finishing up.

yep, this. there are a few basic mods i start every game with, cbbe v3 and remoddeled armor etc. then i add some later. ive gone through to level 23/24 then had ctd's on missions and i hadnt added some of the new mods since the start, had absolutely no choice but to restart the game. and it will make you ♥♥♥♥ed. i garauntee.

If I were you I would limit the mods to about 50 at most as too many mods can be disastrous.

Why would it? your ment to use mod manager to make sure every mod works ok with each other. Even then if your not 100% sure what to do mod wise in loading orders your ment to use BOSS which should sort them out for you.

Really if its just stuff like armor/weapons/body/race then it should not be causing CTD. It should only be causing CTD if either

1)Your pc is crap and has low ram or poor graphics card and your pushing it to hard
2)you have installed a mod which effects a CERTAIN character who is ment to be important and not messed around with -IE changing his race)
3)You have installed a new LAND or BUILDING mod in an area which effects either the main plot or events or certain actions of others

You need to check EXACTLY what type of mod it is your installing. If its just armor/weapons etc then download them all you want as you should not get a problem with those.

If its your adding mods that effect lands or animations or things such as FNIS or SKSE and mess up the files which is when your in trouble

Use the nexus instead ^.~

like thundercats said, get BOSS, get NMM, and you should be right. and install java or enable it so that BOSS works.

LOL I have heard that so many times from people who download many mods at once. The only safe way is to download 1 mod at a time and see if it plays well with the other mods. The only exception are the unnoficial patches. So many times people blame the game when it is the mods not working together.

I don't think anything could help you with 200 mods not even boss.
