It`d be great, if they will create Linux and MAC versions.

As LInux has about 1% of the market share, I'd say it was extremely unlikely. There isn't even a MAC version, and that has a much larger share.

About the only likelyhood is a version that runs on the Steam box, that will reputedly run a version of Linux.

The only 'sign' that there may be a Skyrim port in the works is that there are specific Steam controller configs for the game..and given that they're being made for Steam Machines and Steam Machines run on Linux (yes, Zefram, it's been known for most of the year).

However, there shouldn't be any reason why Steam Controllers shouldn't work on Windows too, so those configs may just be catering for the crazy fools who run a Steam Machine on Windows (weird, I know, but I'm sure some people will try it).

My wishlist of native Linuxgameports are getting smaller, but this is still there. Let us linuxers enjoy the world of skyrim too, pretty please!

Well there's a chance, because steam os is a derived linux distro ... and why not I mean the are also xbox and ps3 versions ... windows fanboy.

The cost for Bethesda to do this would not benefit them. Steam doesn't have much to do with it. You perhaps need to got to Bethesda's site, and make your request there, but I doubt it would happen anyway. The bigger audience is Consoles & PC's (IBM Clones).

As for me, I think we will have on linux only some future AAA games, that will come soon or not so soon. And nobody will port old AAA games. And more AAA games will appear on Steam OS (not all linux distro) in the second half of this year or in 2015.

There's unlikely to be Linux versions even for SteamOS - they'll use a Windows emulator to run them.

You can just use VINE to emulate windows.
