also a story ware we get to finaly sort out the thalmer would be great
Fighting the Thalmor finally, also I'd love to see a quest line where you try to summon a Daedric Titan one of the new monsters in ESO that is city sized.
More focus on factions, diverse storylines, characters, culture, and lore. Even Oblivion impressed me with how in-depth its culture and lore went when you looked into it on the game, and it made me actually want to roleplay when I normally just like to play through the story.
I like your conjuration idea!
More weapon choices, like spears and stuff.
More clothing options, not that Skyrim was lacking it had a realistic amount of diversity for it's people's clothing, but I just wanted to do all kinds of things with my character. When I got the Masque of Clavicus the Vile I knew I definitely wanted to go for the Samurai Warlord look.
More Magic, realm-exploring, divine intervention etc. One of the things that impressed me so in Oblivion was how beautifully magic was meshed into the world. One moment you are in mundus the next you're walking through some hellscape or going through darkness or maybe a beautiful but clearly extraterestrial land!
More vampire and werewolf stuff, maybe even an interesting storyline for werewolves. I'd like to see more about Vampire clan politics because they are mentioned in Oblivion as pretty interesting(I have played Dawnguard yes)
More information about what is going on in the rest of the world. In Oblivion you got to hear rumours about how the rest of the world was doing, but in Skyrim you heard almost nothing! When I heard about the whole Red Mountain thing I searched desperately throughout the game for any shred of information about the state of the Dark Elves because I wanted to know if they were going to go extinct or had just taken a beating,
This is why I fear as long as ESO succeeds, which I hope it does, we probably wont get another single player elder scrolls game.
ESO Is set long long ago before Skyrim meaning that what happens there has no real bearing on the future elder scroll's games because it technically already happened.
So, given that ESO is currently scheduled for Spring 2014 (which if it follows most MMO development could slip), I wouldn't expect there to be any announcement (or probably even the start of development given the chance of leaks) until the end of 2015 at least.
Bethesda just sold them right's to allow the outside group (thier name escapes me.) to develop it. in short, bothesda still owns all the rights to the TES serie's. its just that this outside group is being allowed to make just this one game.
Just noticed, Bethesda is also listed as the publisher for ESO, so they will also be making money in the distribution and operation of the game as well.
