So, whats your strategy for Legendary Difficulty?
I'm starting a 2 Handed/Archer Warrior from the beggining on Leg and at lvl 15 let me tell ya.. The Dragonborn is having a tough time. Luckily being a werewolf is SUPER helpful atm.

My strategy is to find a nice corner, curl up into a fetal postion, and pray nothing even vaguely glances in my general direction.

@Gumby...LOL!

@Han: I'm doing Archer / one handed Sword. On Master at mo, will notch up soon.

My M.O:
Companion...Learn Spells. Restoration and Destruction mainly...Using the terrain to exploit the dumb AI...and Increased Alchemy skills for better potions. Increased Enchanting skills for better Enchant's

During the grind..Gonna really pick my fights wisely, and keep my Companion active! Don't really need shouts just yet, so don't need to go picking fights with Dragons just yet...

And Frost Trolls.............

RUN AWAY!!!!!

♥♥♥♥ing Frost Troll. The one on the way to high hrothgar was literally impossible for me to kill. I didn't do enough DPS to get through his regen. Some fights im forced to use the terrain to exploit the A.I. especially when its a human opponent who Kill Moves me even though I have full health -_-. I've had an incredible fight today because of the difficulty though. Some bandits with summoning magic and enchanted equipment. A Giant and a dragon to boot! My computer lagged that whole fight heh.

^^^I killed at least one Frost Troll but had to run away from another. The one I ran from was smart and refused to sit out in the open. Oh well, I don't remember anyone promising me that I will be able to kill everything I see with little or no effort. Both me and that Frost Troll get to live to fight another day.

My "strategy" for legendary difficulty is Distract, Aim and Fire.

Legendary isn't terribly difficult. I usually go sneak archer/melee or magic. The problem with legendary is that it's difficult early levels, but you tend to level up a lot faser as it takes more swings to kill something and you take greater damage from enemies (for armor levelling). You're also sneaking a lot more, buying more potions and crafting them as well. I find I level up wayyyyy faster on legendary than on any other difficulty, which is why I switched to the Requiem overhaul.

Oh, and faster level up means that I become overpowered too early.

Want some company, J.D.? We can curl up together.
Seriously, I've never tried Legendary from the beginning. Only Master. Maybe someday....Best of Luck, Han!

I feel like I should have put more points into Archery, im also trying to minimize Followers except for select missions. *SPOILERS* Lydia for instance is sitting in Whiterun until I can induct her into the Blades. I like to challenge myself and followers make it really easy to focus on one guy at a time.

Heh, yeah I'll most certainly need it at the rate im going.

Then you need to level up Alchemy and make Paralyze Poison + Archery bonus damage. Ignore the normal poison (health/magicka/stamina) they barely hurt anyone in Legendary.

Down the road you would want to enchant your bow with Paralyze, make the duration short like 1 second. Combine with your Perks from Archery you will be like a boss. Seriously I see people enchant Elemental damage and other effect and I was like whut? Paralyze enchant on weapons > everything born to Tamriel.

Yes. Paralyse...that is one helpful tactic..
And I tell you what. What makes a genuine Master / Legendary player seperate from a BS-er....is the fact that one certainly does admit freely to runnuing away from a Frost Troll HAHAHA!

All true, and wonderful tips Big Boom Boom thank you! For whatever reason im having trouble leveling smithing and enchanting. I leveled smithing alot but never enchanting so I'll probably look up easy ways to do that.

You don't need really high Alchemy skill to make Paralyze. Paralyze is worthwhile even at 1 seconds, the whole point is to stop enemy in their track and it takes a lot longer than 1 seconds for them to get up from being paralyzed plus that 1 second of paralyzed itself. For enchantment the only challenge is to find a Paralyze enchanted weapon, it's quite rate. Otherwise just enchant it with 1 second duration to maximise charges.

Put everthing into magicka and stamina then have Restoration constantly in one hand while running the bandits to the city gaurd in hope that they will help me. They never do...
