i am disappointed as ESO was to start late 2013 now spring of 2014 why because they are bringing it online for the PS4 and XBOX ONE so we pc'ers have to wait.

Well if it wasn't just talk I think one of the interviews the website showed said there should be more content at release due to the wait.

Im acutally not looking foward to it. As a guy who has spent 9 Years playing MMOs (Runescape, WOW, GW, GW2, TOR, Aion, RQ, D&D, I know Im missing a few) It all seems like the same thing. Not saying that the Devs wont do something different.

I would have liked to seen, for example, Skyrim with up to 4-5 player CO-OP
Would have kept that singleplayer feel, but allowed playing with friends. =D

Maybe Ive just played to many MMOs and have ruined it for myself. =P

The things MMOs provide are not my thing. I like reading articles about what happens in them, though. Prison courtyards seem welcoming in comparison

I'm looking forward to how it'll be done and how it'll look and all of the single-player content, but I'm not that social, so probably won't last long if things get too group-involved. I'm also immensely disappointed I didn't get into the BETA, but that was my fault, because I'm sure it was my crappy computer at the time that I applied.

Not me.

I'll play it but I don't look forward to it. There's too many MMOs in the world now. I need more single player games.

Aye, call me a curmudgeon (well really I am), but I'm friggin sick of MMOs. They all end up being a GD second job. Combine the grind with the forced teaming and the pressure from your guild to raid... I'd rather never play a new game than play another MMO.

Even if they set out with the best of intentions the penny pinchers will force them to bow to the LCD and turn it into timesinks and Pavlovian treasure treadmills.

Even if they could avoid all those pitfalls (impossible), I'd still end up regularly having my magical moments spoiled by some 12 year old's actions or comments.

Nay, I'd rather pay a hundred bucks or more for a truly epic next gen single player TES. Something that really shows off the as yet untapped power of all these multicore processors and GPUs, dirt cheep ram chips, and high bandwidth SSD Hybrid storage devices. Hell they could even throw in optional co-op that I could ignore.

Instead they offer up another grindfest that is already graphically obsolete. And without even the pretense of a first person mode to make it look like a TES game. Add in a million jerks and two million asian gold farmers/levelers/whatever and I'd rather get a root canal.

I play TES games to GET AWAY from the bother of other people.

So you could say my excite o meter is hovering near 0.

It'd need to have its own unique charm and mechanics.

Most ppl are sick of Wow clones (and many ppl seem to be divided on whether ESO will be one),

I liked Vindictus for it's combat and fun fight system.

i loved FFXI for its lore, the amazingly fun places to visit, the lil' tiny extra things to do that are in no way related to fighting or questing (<3 fireworks ^_^), and the very friendly community.

All other MMOs I've played were either the usual Korean fare or a WOW clone ~_~ And the only thing I liked about WOW was 29 warsong gulch....until that was ruined...

in short: Not particularly looking forward to ESO. It'd need to be somethin' off the beaten path, with more to offer then just unique mmo combat - and I'm not confident in that being achieved. But hey, if I'm proven wrong, I'd gladly pick it up and stalk all my steam friends until we can form our own kingdom! Don' worry, I don' wanna be the leader :3 But I make an excellent second in command >:)

MMOs are full of rich asians who talk down on you if you don't spend the same amount of money on the game as they do.

*cough* grand fantasia *cough*

Cool?

I bought Skyrim because it's not a MMO. I'm already invested in a slash hack MMO game that I only visit enough to keep my content updated. I won't be joining the online Elder Scrolls stuff.

TES is a amazing series because you don't play online. I've play morrowind oblivion and skyrim and they're all amazing games I feel like multiplayer would ruin it
