Morrowind. Daggerfall is just a bit too old for me. It's a good game, but I do prefer Morrowind over it.

He said "it's a good game" -- what part of that did you understand to mean "unplayable"? Daggerfall was nice (actually, for its time, it was amazing), but Morrowinds crafted content beat the RNG content in Daggerfall.

For me it's a close race between Morrowind & Skyrim.

With mods:
1. Skyrim (and the real modding just started ...)
2. Oblivion (still active modding, a ♥♥♥♥ ton of completed mods)
3. Morrowind (not the same modding quantity)

Without mods:
1. Morrowind (still the best vanilla experience)
2. Skyrim (made some things better than oblivion, some things not - still better overall)
3. Oblivion (hooooorrible landscape, sorry beth but at least you learned that lesson fast!)

Daggerfall was good too, but it was way too buggy and the mod support of the other games made a huge difference.

Morrowind. Everyone will have their own opinions, but for me, Morrowind was perhaps the best experience I ever had with a videogame. Never before had I been so immeresed in a videogame.

It's not even from the same devs, no mod support because MMO / Online and what I've seen so far wasn't really impressive and your whole comment is utterly stupid.

Heavily modded Skyrim, with emphasis on AI and player class mods. I haven't even played Morrowind, and Skyrim feels casual and lacking in meaningful starting choices.

Perhaps I'll pick Morrowind up if it's $10 USD or less during the summer sale.
