SKSE is a script extender program. It doesn't manage your mods. It provides extra scripting for mods that Bethesda haven't supported in their base scripting. Mods that wouldn't work without the extra scripting that the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) provides.

So you are subscribing to mods...what mods are you subscribing to?..Name the main ones and/or the most recent here.

It takes a few moments for the files to synchronise as Steam is installing and managing/updating your workshop mods for you and so, the servers are handling the transfer of data. Once you have subscribed to a mod, the next time you play Skyrim, Steam will install the mod into your program files.

When you launch Skyrim, please wait for the list of subscribed mods to update. See if you can spot the mods updating as they scroll through...

Are you having problems with SKSE itself?...

I am aware that SKSE dosen't manage mods. But eversince i first installed it, any mod i have subd afterwards has not taken affect.... ill be back with the list of latest mods that i have sub.

Yep. I was expecting a massive list. Okay:

I would recomend that you look into giving B.O.S.S a try. It's a mod sorting software program that is very efficient at identifying and sorting correct or better loading orders in your mod loading list. It seems to me it might be something to do with the order you have your mods loaded. The lower down the mod is in the list, the later that mod is loaded, thus overwriting any previous mod's effects that took place higher up in the list.

You can get errors this way, commonly known as conflicts. As well as load order errors..

I get the idea that you are already fairly savvy with what it all means, sorry if so, but if you want to give BOSS a go with sorting your load order out (It will sort out SKSE too) Take a look at the very good Video that Gopher did, I have included it in the OP of the Pinned thread if you're interested. It might sort out your issues...it's also helpfulto have when you have a massive list of mods to manage too. But just remember, that you must also know what BOSS is doing, you are in charge, BOSS is just a help tool, you must finally decide if it is doing things correctly, hence the tutorial video by Gopher :)

Any Mods Before March 30 work perfectly. I have even trying using the standerd skyrim launcher instead of the SKSE one but according to it the newly subd mods dont even exist.
I will give B.O.S.S a try... i'll see if it works

It does just seem like a load order issue to me....
General Ferrtuis Jul 3, 2013 @ 1:10pm
As it turns out.. in order for the mods to install... you have to open up the Vanilla Launcher .... wait for them to all load ... then run the SKSE launcher......(FacePalm)..

Hmm, you might find that it usually is just for the first time around.....after recently subscribing that you would benefit from this...

I have downloaded, and made workshop mods myself, as a lot of us have, and having had them for a while, I don't need to do that I can just start the game up from SKSE Desktop launcher and it works...

But yeah, If I recently add a new mod from, say, the Workshop, I not only wait for it to update but I also double checkl that it is checked (ticked) in the data files (plug-ins) as well.

(I have just facepalmed myself today, having struggled through learning, eventually, how to install manually some files from the nexus, I simply forgot to make sure it was checked in my plug-ins list, yeah, how derpy, right?!)

So don't worry, it can catch us out sometimes and it can be the simplest of things. It takes quite a while to get used to managing everything properly, I'm still in the early stages of it myself hahaha.

Your mod will appear in the 'Data files' plug-ins list once it is properly synchronised by Steam..Hope you have got it working, and Oh, Check out the BOSS tutorial by Gopher on Youtube. I haven't got BOSS yet, I only have around 15 mods running at mo, but I am considering getting BOSS to work as my 'personal Mod secretary' when my list grows :3

I might call her Sheila...
