Creation kit crashing

So im trying to make a mod an active file but everything i do. it gives me errors and just crashes any suggestions?

it will run. but whenever i try to make a plugin an active file i get a bunch of errors in which i have no idea what they mean

if your talking about when you start up the ck not when you try to load the mod in the game. thats normal . it always happens. just ignore all when you see that box pop up . you may have to ignore all 2 times . its pointless. the ck has a problem loading some things . go wacth some youtube vids on the ck . they will tell you the same thing

and are you sure it crashes and isnt just realy slow to load and start up ?

When the error that says something like: Parent master files cannot be found. Ignore? click: 'YES TO ALL'. And it will carry on loading.

i do all that. then it just straight crashes.says not responding. something to do with strings???

Is the mod one that you have made yourself or is it someone else's mod? Does the mod need a particular Masterfile?

someone elses mod. but i have the master files requires skyrim and dawnguard then the update esm

Other people's mods may actually have special requirements needed in order to edit them. I recommend you try asking the modder. Very, very politely :)

already did ask. said to do it normally i cant do it with any mods idk why.

I don't know If I get the Captain Obvious award for mentioning this.....but did you check that you have the missing commands in the .ini file?...The explanation of it is near bottom of pinned thread's headder...

Ok, listen...It is just letters that you just need to copy into the folder. It tells you where to look, EXACTLY what to type...it's an idiot's guide...don't be afraid. Just follow the instructions carefully. And if you are the type of guy who wants to get involved in modding etc, then this task is something you're gonna have to get to grips with....You can do it, don't worry. Click on the link. LOOK DOWN to the bottom of the headder and follow instructions. Easy peasy.
