Need help with random CTD.
I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall my games again. When I installed skyrim I kept crashing to my desktop with no errors or any kind of warning. I'm also not using any mods. It doesn't happen on save or load it just happens. I can play for 30 seconds or 15minutes. I never had this problem before. I could run the game at ultra with 45-60fps depending on where I was. I have no idea what the problem is and it is driving me crazy. Any help at all would be awesome. Thank you.

Oh? strange, never had that, sounds like a problem in your folder, have you updated it fully?

how big are your saves?

does it happen when you make a new game aswell?

I don't really have any saves. I just get out of the cave from the start of the game. I only have new games because I had to wipe my hard drive. I guess my game is fully updated. It doesn't try and update on steam.

Ah sorry mate, then it's beyond me, have no idea what it can be then, last option then is to re-install it, CTD's are usaly a conflict between if using mods, and a corrupt save if its bloated with to high mb on it (10mb or higher) , but none is the case here as you run modless and using new saves/game.

I didn't delete anything. I had to wipe my hard drive then I put the game back on. Now it crashes. I tried reinstalling 3 more times after that (because people kept telling me to try again lol) but I never went into a folder and deleted anything.

well if you wiped your HD I guess it's not an issue. You should be aware though that the ini files (that tell you GPU what to do) will not be deleted if you just get Steam to delete the local content. They are in the save game folders: MyDocuments - MyGames - Skyrim

I am just terrible with computer stuff. What should I do in the skyrim folder? (Sorry I'm a noob =\)

If you want a real clean install, I would say you tell Steam to delete all local content AND also delete the save folders and all the stuff you may have in the Steam directories that Steam doesn't know about. So use Windows explorer and wipe that sucker clean. Like I said: Steam will not take away all the ini files in the save game directory that you'll find under MYDocuments - MyGames

If you wiped your HD though this will have been done of course.
