Legendary Perk
Okay, I have to admit that maybe I just simply do not understand this - is there really any benifit of "Lengdary" status of the perk? Does the next time around, give you 'more' power or anything, or is it just a "status" thing? I guess, I do not the see the need to start over again, unless there is a benifit other than status?

The Legendary perk is there so you can rebuild easy skills for faster levels. This was brought on by the fact that you need to be lv.70 for Legendary Dragons to even begin appearing and you need to be lv.81 to fight the Ebony Warrior but no there is no "benefit". So do what I do and abuse the hell out of Pickpocketing. It lvs easy and you can re-legendary an already legendary skill.

I spam Illusion magic using Muffle. There are no risks involved unless you regularly use Illusion in combat as it can be levelled outside of combat (one of the few skills that can be leveled without ingredients, money, crime or combat).

Okay - so basically if you are not going after all the PERKS .. this lets you level up quicker by using (abusing) those skills that you focus on already?

Alright .... BTW - Screaming --- Get Deadly Dragons, and you can have all the dragons you want -- up to 3 at a time and you can set their "Skill/Kill" level so you actually have to FIGHT for your life with them .. and yes you get the "Soul Perks" with them! Also do NOT get version 7 right now - go with ver. 6 - as you can also set the Level of Animals - non-living - living NPC so that again, you actually have a good fight on your hands.

I do not think there is a number of times you can go legendary in any skill.

the idea of legendary status was to make the player super overpowered by giving him/her the ability to obtain perks in all the skill tree's. therefore resulting in the ability to level an unlimited amount of time's.

It just gives your the ability to redistribute perks to another attribute - Cast Muffle loads of times and you soon get 100% - then realise you wished you chosen the perks for smithing for example earlier in the game

I prefer ASIS with immersive creatures and legendary/masters setting, most encounters are -more- than enough of "OMGWTFBBQ".
