Need Help removing an item from my inventory, every time I go to it it crashes my game.

Whenever I open my weapons slot, and scroll down my game crashes when I get to the Iron dagger of Fear. I have no way to remove it at all, every time I get to it my game goes boom. Any help? It would be greatly appreciated.

Open the console (hit the ~ key :P)
Type this in:
player.removeitem 0008970d 1

If you have more than 1, replace the 1 with however many you have ^^

I tried the drop option, and it still does the same thing, on on another dagger that fill in the iron dagger of fear's slot. In essence I cannot go below that point in my list, and cannot access anything that starts with a letter that follows "I". It is really putting a hurt on my ability to fight.
