Mod problem

Hello im having trouble with my skyrim game. You see evey time you download a mod there is always a update on the bottom when you open the skyrim launcher and to see the mods jus go to data files to see the mods you download. But lately everytime I download a mod and open the launcher the update is not in the bottom and when I ceck the data files the mods that I download recently is not there. It been working for 3 day and started having his problem yesterday. So tell me how do I fix this problem, and coul you pls give a ifo why this happen?
