Please help with my mod related issue!?
Okay so I have quite a bit of mods installed but I dont want to unistall them to fix this. Simply because I'd loose my green Daedric armor and Ive already lost my flintlock pistol. So I dont want to unistall all my sweet weapons and armors. So now after I have done the Thiefs Guild, the Companions, the College I'd like to start the Dark Brotherhood. So I did the quest to meet Astrid but the courier never came so I used a console command to start the quest line. I did and I met Astrid I killed for her and was invited to the Sanctuary. I did all of Nazirs side quest but now I cant do the next primary contract. She wont give it to me. Also I have tried to use console commands and It simply wont work. Please would you just help me out, anybody.

I have mods so you will have to figure out the mod that is conflicting. I like the Ashira Merchants and trainers it is one of my favorites.

He upgraded it to where you needed all three DLC's and I did not have Hearthfire. So my game would crash. I studied my mods and saw he had updated it so I bought hearthfire to have the mod. This is one of my 54 favorites.

Is there any way to figure out the conflicting mod?

You must try de activating the ones that you suspect are similar. If you are not prepared to deactivate any mods, then you really will struggle in trying to fix anything. You don't need to worry. If you have nexus mod manager and you have installed your mods using this then you are going to have a hell of an easier time in sorting this out.

You can easily deactivate and reactivate mods simply by clicking on the mods tab in the manager, and looking at your list of activated mods. Scroll through and try deactivating one mod at a time, and reverting back to the game to see if it has made a difference. That is how to find out about a conflict...

Your issue seems to me to be solved by scrapping what mess you have gotten yourself into (it's corrupt) and starting over from an earlier save, with the deactivated mod culprits having been investigated and left deactivated. There are plenty of other mods out there, don't worry. On a serious note, if a mod you like is a problem, try sacrificing the counterpart mod that conflicts...or at best, deactivate the mod that mostly affects others to minimize conflicts elsewhere...

Master Dan understands the game much better than most including myself. I have asked him for advice before when I was new. Everything I know and I now know quite a bit was from the help of more experienced gamers.

I hope Master Dan stays on all the time he is really needed as I see so many new players struggling with the game.

Look to see if has been updated and look to see if two mods are doing the same thing two Aela mods can cause a problem at times take a mod off and see if it plays. It only takes a few minutes.

It just takes time the Ashira Merchants took me about 2 hours and that was before the latest steam update that checks your mods for changes.

Hi LonelyGhosty -

You might save yourself a bit of mod fiddling by using this load optimizer for Skyrim, it's called BOSS, find it here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6/?

I'd also suggest getting the unofficial patches from the workshop if you haven't yet.
