you put the x360ce exe in your skyrim folder then double click it .. it will connect to online and download a config for your controller , save the config and close the menu , start skyrim normaly and you will hear a audiable signal that lets you know x360ce has started and your controller should work normaly now.
Advanced..
You can use the x360ce menue to remap your comtroller butons .
example I have Thrustmaster with two additonal buttoons located on the bottom of the controller.
I remapped them to the joystick buttons so I don't have to depress the joystick to activate buttons 10 and 11 ..
also if you're using a joypad there is a very good mod that adds aditonal features by adding a shift button..
