Just bought the game, couldn't wait until it goes on sale
I know Skyrim will probably go on sale in the summer but I just couldn't wait a couple more weeks so I bought it. Now I have Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim! This one has a workshop, that's good.

In my opinion you made a wise chice. There a workshops for the other 2 also but they are on Nexus there might be Morrowind but I saw people are still making mods there.

A great game like Skyrim and the others last a lifetime.
Wow thanks, I thought you'd get mad and tell me ''Go play Morrowind! It is superior! This game is not worth 30$'' I mean I like morrowind but Skyrim isn't bad to me. Yeah Oblivion and Morrowind have support on Nexus.
Morrind does have a lot of advantages over Skyrim but it's also got it's fair share of problems. My advise is get Nexus Mod manager[skyrim.nexusmods.com] Then download BOSS [code.google.com] When you run it a DOS prompt will appear and push the number for TES V: Skyrim A webpage will launch showing every plugin you have. Click on Recognized Plugins and it tells you exactly what to do.

Of course do the Boss -after- you download mods. If your a newbie I advise an unmodded play the first time so you can get used to things. However if you want a true skyrim expeience let me know and I'll give you some mods to try.
Alright.
This game is easily worth $100. It's the game that keeps on playing.
I am downloading mods for it right now, I feel dumb for downloading the HD texture pack from Bethesda as I know Nexus has far better texture mods, oh well.
Well I don't know about $100... but you certainly get out what you put into it. Mods like SkyRE completely change the feel of the game. Add ASIS and now you've got a more lively but also more dangerous wilderness. Frostfall means you have to plan more so you can't simply sit in the snowy mountains all day or swim the frigid waters with a simple breath spell. Realistic needs and diseases adds to that in that you'll need to keep a small supply of food/boiled water at all times. Hunterborn helps by allowing you to harvest -a lot- more from animals including more pelts. I've come to adore the mod ♥♥♥♥♥ Eye Caravan for this run, you'll still need a fur tent for snow and leather for rain. However the ready access to storage and crafting means you're rarely in a "Oh Sh.." when the weather turns and camp is far far away.

Don't feel dumb but DO download the "unoffical" patches on the website.
Do I have to download each of them in order or can I just download the latest one?
Each patch applies to it's own thing so if you have all the DLC's get all the patches. If you don't have dawnguard let's say then don't download that patch (also avoid any mods that require DLC's you lack. )
Alright. Yeah I only had enough for the base game so no DLCs just yet.
