Cloud Sync
So I completely reset my PC a few weeks back because the hard drive was getting a bit full. I copied my Football Manager save files to my external hard drive but not my Skyrim files. Reason being they weren't there because this game uses the cloud. Anyway, after installing Skyrim last week, I noticed I couldn't load a game. No saves were present. I left it for a week to see if it was a problem with my connection or the Steam servers and here I am.... Still no luck.

Can anyone help me with this?

You still store save files on you local disk under C:/Your name/My Documents/My Games/Skyrim. Or perhaps you know this already? You can play Skyrim Offline if you want to because these files are on your local disk.

I didn't know that :( I just assumed all the saves were in the Steam folder. Right now the folder is empty!

Is there any way of getting my saves back that are supposedly in the cloud?

Don't the cloud files sync with the local ones? Not sure but it's possible that deleting the local ones removes the ones in the cloud. I do like the cloud saves as I can play the same game in two different locations without having to repeat gameplay.
