Skyrim Legendary Edition
I already have Skyrim and was thinking of getting the Legendary Edition as it's cheaper but I was wondering if the DLC is able to be kept whilst giving the main game away to a friend? Help?

No I don't think that happens. your existing copy is shall we say, overwritten...

I could be wrong, but I think I saw it like this ...

So if I got it then it would overwrite the existing copy it would be null and void whilst the legendary copy would remain with all dlc?

yeah, pretty much ...but don't worry...it all works out right. you dont really lose any money..

Just look at it as you are buying the DLC for a LOT cheaper than the DLC seperately. The way you are doing it now is the best way.

What retailers and distributers are doing now is a one sale for one individual policy. No more trading off pre owned stuff anymore like back in the 90's etc...it makes them more money to take control of it. (I despise it, but hey, I would love it if I was a retail executive)
