for your 4th right that everyone has and you dont even know is that
if you want to play skyrim on a different computers
its called
installing steam on that pc/laptop
either your a bad troll or your serious i can't tell because your being retarted in so many ways
plus im pretty sure you can't play skyrim on a laptop unless you have a gaming laptop with you
@Tox LAximus Steam can look after whatever it wants. I want to control my computer, not let the client do it. Plus I demand the right to use my game off-line for life if need be, I bought it, it's mine, not Steam!
@Steam the level of the responses is at the level of the comments. I hope Steam is more sensible than some of the sheepeople that troll the forum (Sheepeople people that act like sheep, the sheepard order and the sheep goes whitout asking why)

BAM! Now, that wasn't so bad was it?
I don't like any need to be online guys. Even though I can't see a time when I couldn't log on every 30 days I don't think it's a good thing to have this requirement hanging over me. It just doesn't feel like a good road the gaming world is heading down. This is not a troll; it's a concern for the future.
Steam allows you to install all your games in the place of your choosing, but you need to set it so that all Steam games download to the same place. It's not that hard, I also download all my games to an external 1TB drive for file management purposes and so I have can play any of about 50 games when I like without having to worry about uninstalling any first.
You don't have to tweak anything to play off-line, Steam has an off-line mode. But unless you're still on dial-up, I wonder why it being always on is that much of a problem? That's the whole point of broadband, it's always there. I agree that not being able to play unless you're on-line is a pain, but that's something quite different.
Agree with this sentiment. On the plus side, the Steam article on off-line mode doesn't specify a time limit:
