SKSE Help
OK I have a mod that requires SKSE to use the mod fully, but even though I've followed the instructions on installation to the letter (or perhaps the file) I cant execute the script. It says the file is corrupted or unreadable. I use windows 8, can someone help?

Maybe you don't have the required DLC of the game?
I would go back to windows 7 if I were you btw.

Did you watch the youtube vid? I ask because I installed SKSE (Win7) yesterday and it was very helpful to a mod newb like myself.

redownload the correct file for your game version . if you didnt install the 1.9 beta patch you want the 1_06_09 .7z
i might be a good idea for you to watch the gopher vid

If you haven't opted into the Beta, your version should be 1.8.151.0.

The version will appear in the pause / options menu (bottom left hand corner) or you can hover over the TESV.exe (SteamApps/common/Skyrim folder) or right click > Properties > Details.
