If you want to give your housecarl something you talk to them and then go down to "I want to trade something with you" and then you can give them what you want by highlighting the object and pressing "R". If you want to take something from them you do the same thing with their inventory and press "E".

Wait do you mean between... your characters? Or Your character and npcs?

if you mean between 2 player chars thats not possible that would be items in two seperate game worlds , all the player chars you create dont occupy the same world space (they would have to be in the same game at the same time , thats like giving yourself a sword in one world to another you in another world , theres only one you at a time
pike, there was a mod for morrowind that could share items between saves, I'm sure of it. Could've been an external program. Or I could just be making it up.

No share between save!

i just dont see how that could work ,there would have to be 2,3,4, (how ever many chars you made) instances of the game running in the background to effectively save the items to the other save (chars chest) interesting idea but it would break the game , there would be repicated items floating all over the place ,enter the 4th demention
