Is there a proper load order for the official Add-ons?
Just recently I installed the Hearthfire add-on into Skyrim and everything seemed to be running fine for a while. However, after purchasing the Lakeview Manor plot I experienced a drastic increase in both loading and saving times in Skyrim. I disabled amost all of my mods to investigate the root cause, but so far the culprit seems to point directly to Hearthfire. Part of me is thinking that it may have to do with the fact that I changed the load order of the ESM files in order to coincide with each of my add-ons' chronological release, however I am unsure if this is the case. Please let me know if i've put my ESM files in the right order.

Here's my load order with the few mods I have enabled:

- Skyrim.esm
- Update.esm
- Dawnguard.esm
- HearthFires.esm
- Dragonborn.esm
- Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp
- Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp
- Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp
- Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp
- SkyUI.esp

Also, my current save file is ~10MB. I'm not sure if that's a high or low number, but if it is a bit high could anyone recommend a way to reduce bloat? Thanks in advance!

That's correct and 10 mb is pretty normal.

If you're using a save that you've uninstalled mods from though,
leftover scripts from those mods can cause bloat / problems.

There is a new way to deal with the script problem through SKSE.
Looks promising and you can read more about it here:

Nope load order has no bearing on anything official or not official because contrary to what people love to think, all data gets loaded into the game at the same exact time.

If load order really mattered, then the game would take forever to load or not at all. People only believe load order has anything to do with anything because of mods that they used, broke their game.

I don't know if there's a proper load order for DLC but you have what most recommend. Your unofficial patches should come right after the official content and in that order. Everything looks good.

10MB saves are not uncommon.

If you have mods that make changes to the same data the mod which loads later will supersede earlier changes. And since it's not always clear what data a mod alters... This is where a lot of the conflicts with mods arise.

Unofficial patch doesn't do anything except fix what the mods being used break.

No one should ever be using that.

Ignore the troll.
Everyone that used it eventually reported problems. So you can try to call me names all you want but you cannot ignore those facts.

I can safely ignore things that are not facts, as should anyone else.
Thanks. /endofdiscussion

As I said ♥♥♥♥♥s like this deny problems but Google results prove he doesn't know what he's talking about. So he's saying everyone who reported problems and list the patch, is lying.

Isn't posting from a dummy account and attacking forum members after getting banned what finally got you perma-banned from Nexus?

I've never been banned from the nexus thanks and trying to derail the subject and take the focus off what is causing the problems doesn't do you or anyone else that tries to do that any good and doesn't get you anywhere.

Maybe if 99% of the people on this forum knew what they were doing and understood how the game data interacts with things, you'd understand why literally everyone on this forum such as yourself doesn't know what they're talking about. Meanwhile I know how to fix this persons issues just like I help fix a ton of people's problems on here.

And responses like the one you posted that maliciously attack me are why I don't provide any help out in public. You all trash people because I am making people aware that the information people give on this forum IS BAD and breaks their game and you're mad because I make sure someone knows this.

Not only where you banned from Nexus you are currently banned from Steam. Which is why you are posting from a dummy account.

This sound familiar to anyone.

If load order actually did anything for the game, then every area in Skyrim would need to be loaded in a specific order and the game would take 15 min to load every loading screen due to having all the areas needing to load the data,

When Dragonborn came out I removed my save files, uninstalled, reinstalled and started a new character. I just noticed the game set my Data Files as so:

- Dawnguard.esm
- Dragonborn.esm
- HearthFires.esm
- HighRes Texture Pack 01
- HighRes Texture Pack 02
- HighRes Texture Pack 03

Should I move HearthFires and Dragonborn? If so will that do anything to my current saves?

Thanks for the help! :)

I'd probably leave it alone. I doubt it will matter, the .esm's and .esp's appear to be in order.
