Why is Skyrim $60? This game was released a year and a half ago. It should be selling for $20-25 not $60.

Age isn't why games go down in price. They go down in price because sales slow. Skyrim is still selling well, therefore there's no reason for Bethesda to drop the price.

Yeah. If you have a product that is selling well at a certain price point it would be bad business to cut prices. I wouldn't do it. Specially not for a luxury item like Skyrim...The caviar of computer games.

This game is a rare gem... it's so worth the 60 dollars .. Games this good don't come around very often and that's why the price is so high still...It's worth every magical penny!!

you get 100+ hours of content just out of the base game, and then you have one of the most prolific modding communities out there.

It's easily worth $100. The fact that you're getting such an awesome game for $50 is a steal.

If you want games like this then you have to pay for it so the companies can continue to create them. In this day and age $60.00 is not a lot of money. How many mobile/cell phone users pay less than that a month for the use of the phone systems?? On top of that you have hundreds of hours of playable time. Save up your loose change and it will not take much time to put together the purchase price!

Game's worth what people will pay for it, and I know plenty of people still willing to pay that much for Skyrim its a great game and anyways you can always try to catch it at a sale!

Every now and then it goes on sale for 33% to even 50%. If you don't want to pay the full price for the base game, then just wait a bit.

Anyways, it's a huge game, as mentioned before it has a lot of content for money. No reason to lower the price of the base game when there are still people buying it too.
