Why is this game still full price on Steam?
Please bring the permanent price inline with other retail options.

P.S.
I will never pay $60 for a PC game.

The game is holding it's value very well. Just wait for it to go on sale, Steam has a lot of them. I bought it a few weeks ago 50% off.

Its still a very massive, awesome game that many people want and probably still haven't played yet.
It took Fallout 3 and New Vegas a similar while to finally drop in price.

Like the poster above me said, just wait for it to go on sale. ...which it does quite often.
I've seen it go down to $25 on several occasions.

And that is why you haven't played one of the best games out.

By the time you grab Skyrim; most of the community probably will have moved onto Fallout 4.

Which isn't actually any kind of problem. You can save a lot of money by playing everything at a delay.

Because it's worth every cent.

It is $59.99 on Steam in the US. A quick search will uncover alternative options that are half the price.

That's ok with me; I've done this.
But my point being is SKyrim came out in 2011, FO4 will probably launch late 2014, or 2015
If someone is willing to wait 3-4 years so they can grab a game on the cheap [and lets be honest, the Skyrim GOTY will probably still be more than $30], then all the more power to them.
For me, $60 is nothing [what is that 1 months of internet use?], and Skyrim is such a great game.

skyrim supposedly still has two "major dlcs" incoming

$60 for vanilla

Ya, and the GOTY will probably be $30 in 2015

Look, I get it. Your cheap and you expect every single game to be $20 one year after release. There are a ton of garbage games that fit that criteria; however Skyrim isn't one of them. You'll continue to wait to play this gem of a game.

Do you "get" that Skyrim does not cost $60 anywhere else but Steam? Cus that's the point of this thread.

its cheaper on amazon. that does NOT automatically equate to "everywhere." Lots of stuff is cheaper on amazon.

Steam doesn't set Skyrim price, Bethesda does. Since Steam is responsible for an estimate of around 70% worldwide digital market, Bethesda would want to maximise their profit on it.
