Blacksmithing broken, 1 dagger = 15 blacksmith points??? Help!
This is killing me... It totally breaks the start of the game becuase you can't smith anything without hitting level 20 with 100 blacksmithing. I think it's a mod that's causeing the problem but I've deleted all mods having to do with blacksmithing and it hasn't helped. Anyone know what mods out there are causing fast leveling issues with Skyrim?

♥♥♥♥ that doesnt sound too bad lol. i usually have to grind out thousands of daggers to hit 100 smithing... lol even more since that patch that "fixed" smithing.

Fighting your first draugr at level 20 without any combat skill is probably not so fun. ^^

Without armor perks, it ain't so good. And killing a Draugr Scourge with 15 in whatever you use may take a loooong time. ^^

Tx3000, why don't you apply your own idea? Nobody cares for your hissy fit. Grow up dude, you're just another whiner polluting this forum, like those you claim to hate.

Lol ok well after some work I'm narrowing it down to what is causeing the problem... I managed to get it to stop over leavling but i turned off a lot of mods to do it... so now I"m going through trying to figure out which one it is.

Dress your follower in Legendary gear, and watch them slay Draugr. Better yet, Difficulty does not affect follower, this can be done in Master difficulty.

Followers are for wimps.

They are for characters with 100 Speech, 100 Blacksmithing, 100 Alchemy, 100 Enchantment, 100 Restoration and 100 Lockpicking, but without any combat skill. Well, against living creatures that is. When I'm bored on my lvl 73 character, I just unleash my followers (3) and use heal on them. It's even more funny when you don't use followers, but just keep healing the townsguards and watch them kill legendary dragons.

you need to use the deadly dragon mod... they won't be killing dragons then.
Du Guesclin Feb 18, 2013 @ 6:49pm
I just unleash the Mayhem. Who needs followers? I make the enemies kill themselves and then slit the throat of the last one standing.

You can't be level 73 and have these skills without having any combat skill anyway. I have all of these except alchemy, and I'm level 63 on my main who also has 100 in One-Handed, Block, Heavy Armor, Destruction and around 75 in Archery.

More seriously, I used followers in my first game, but grew bored with their two lines of dialogues and innumerable ways to lose themselves. My current character never had a follower, Lydia is still in Dragonreach, and she will stay her. Serves her right for ♥♥♥♥♥ing all the time and getting lost. My char is a sneaky assassin anyway, so having an oaf clanking around and charging at everything she sees wouldn't do her any good.

[edit: correction of mistakes and false friends, english's not my first language.]

Nah I just toy around with Resilient Dragon and add 5x HP to Dragon and make them tougher to NPC. Deadly Dragon adds more than what I want.

What I meant is that I'm bored of 2handing on my lvl 73 I play around with Followers and Illusions/Restoration. I just use multiple follower lite mod that comes with a small Power that summon followers to your location, and touch nothing else on followers except allow multiple (as the name suggested). I'm not fond of mods adding too much on vanilla, sometimes they are overkill.

I'm kidding by the way, followers are well and good, use them if you want. I just don't feel the need myself anymore, they're more hassle than they're worth and not interesting enough for me to endure it.

followers are useful as pack mules if you dont have the bandolier mod

I have a convenient horse with saddles, thanks to Convenient Horses. And in dungeons I'm picky with the loot, I don't take anything under 10/1 ratio, or more when I'm starting to find good stuff.
