Steam not extracting mod .ckm files.
When you download a mod from the Steam Workshop, first it downloads a .ckm package that contains all the mod data files (esps, bsas, etc...) Regardless, Steam downloads the mod and adds it to my subscriptions but thats as far as it seems to go it just halts and stops ever since I unsubscribed from one mod. How can I manually un-package this .ckm if steam won't do it for me?

I've tried uninstalling Steam, Skyrim, All my Mods, the Nexus Modmanager and I've also tried resubscribing and unsubscribing to the mod that caused all this ♥♥♥♥ in the first place, several times.

PLEASE HELP ME FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS SANE IN THE WORLD.

Every time I ask this I just get the common "Yea that sucks, reinstall Steam." ....Which is of no help to me, so unless you have some valuable input or insights please just don't babble nonsense.

After unsubscriping to a mad, make sure to go into the data files (the part where you tick and un-tick enable and disable mods) and right click on the ones you do not want anymore (make sure they are un-ticked and disabled first) and delete them. it will say: "remove mod and associated files, if any?" click yes, and it should be gone. also, be sure you are subscribed to enabled mods, or else, bad things could happen. other than this, i haven't a clue what could be wrong...(i am a mod-making noob myself.)
