Is Skyrim DLC a flashback?
I find remarkable similarities between Skyrim's DLC and Morrowind's DLC. For example, the quest of defeating/joining a supernatural race in Dawngaurd is reminicent of that in Bloodmoon. Also, the current DLC, Dragonborn, rehashes Solsiem (also Bloodmoon) but pits you against a God-like character (first Dragonborn), just as Bloodmoon puts the Nerevarine against Hircine. Don't get me wrong, I'm fully psyched to see the updated Solsiem, but does anyone else notice these or any other similarities?

I kind of thought that when they released the trailer.
You're quite the Slowpoke, eh?

Um... No. Played Bloodmoon and let's just say Solstheim alone has more inhabitants and built up areas on it then when Bloodmoon took place with the one Imperial fort and lone town up North of the island. (Excluding side quest line which had you building a colony).

It takes place in the present time. Ask any xbox 360 owner that has played Dragonborn. That's why you see the Red Mountain that decimated Morrowind across from the island in the draw distance.
