Anywhere near Falkreath crashes

After finishing the Calvicus Vile quest (at least, that was the last one I did in the area) I can't get almost anywhere in the Southwest corner of Skyrim. Game closes whenever pass Cracked Tusk Keep to Shriekwind (I can go into Skriekwind but not the Overlook. I can make it to Angi's cabin if I stay on the very edge of the map, but that's about it.

I haven't really done anything in Falkreath yet, but I do have the Dragonborn expansion, if that helps.

Also been crashing when fast traveling or going near Falkreath. Still havn't narrowed down what is causing it. Also have Dragonborn, and never had this problem before it.

I had this same problem, and looking on other forums I may have found the solution. Are you using the "scenic carriages" mod? Disabling it fixed this problem for someone else. I've yet to try it myself, though.

I had the same problem. Turned out that I have both version of Oakwood village for Skyrim and Heartfire. I removed Skyrim version. Everything is fine now.
