application error 0xc000007b
Application does not start. Launcher works fine except it will not start skyrim. Running the "TesV.exe" file results in application error 0xc000007b. I've been looking at the forums now for a month. Most people solve it by running Tesv as an administrator, re installing everything from the game itself to c++ directx and .net framework distributables. Tried verifying the game cache through steam, says one file is invalid. I've been everywhere with this. Contacted support. They gave me the "re-install directx" rundown. Didn't solve the problem. They suggested I go to bethesda. Bethesda's support page has no articles on it. Is there any solutions to this that don't revolve around re-installing the aforementioned distributables, verifying the game cache, or running the program as an administrator? Because I've done each of those about five times now to no avail.

Different error code number but pretty much the same thing I am going through.
This is Bethesda tech supports response

"More than likely, one of your mods is conflicting with a recent official update for Skyrim. If you are running any third party mods, it should be noted that support is not provided for Skyrim if third party mods and plugins are installed, including Steam Workshop mods, SKSE, Skyboost, Nexus Mod Manager, and Script Dragon. As these mods were never officially tested by the development team, they may have unintended effects on the game.

If you experience issues while using third party mods, we advise deleting them completely, not disabling them, and reverting back to game saves prior to their installation. For support on user-created contact, we recommend contacting the mod/plugin author."

error code 7b
ERROR_INVALID_NAME
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

make sure your path's are free form specail signs and not too long.
this may also have to do with your username, if it's use specail signs.
i.e.
- create a new computer user "SkyrimPlayer"
- Log on with this new user
- Install Skyrim on C:\Skyrim

This can also be a problem by a wrong setup of skrim files. Check-out path settings.
