glitch or part of the game?

hey, in third person view whenever i back into a wall my camera zooms in and my character goes invisible, that way i can see from third person view, thats pretty normal... but my character will go bald and lose all facial hair etc. before he goes invisible, normal i think, but sometimes he will not regain his hair and stuff until after maybe a second after i leave the wall and the camera returns to normal, so it gives me a bit of time to look at my hairless character, which is annoying, but yeah... is this normal or what? i have mods, but none of them affect the characters looks...
