Help, my game stoped starting!
I used to play alot of skyrim. Then i stoped for a long time. Now every time i go to start skyrim, and click play, it just restarts. The menu just disapers for a second, and then reapears. WTF!

- check your save games (a damged one can cause skrim to crash when you enter menu).
- verify content
- disable mods

right click in steam library on game -> properties, then go on the tab local files, find a button verify game content.

it said 2 files failed to validate, do i need to do anything else?

if they are wrong, steam will re-download it.
So, if a download starts after checking, everything is fine.
If not, re-try again.
Make also sure, you have enought diskspace and the files are not write-protected.

if it re-downloads while its validating, dose that count?

if its been awhile since you last played (over 2 months) steam will get the updated files from nov/dec latest version is i think , if you failed validation steams gonna get the files you need , dont panic
