Becoming a Thane of Falkreath

Hey Guys,

I need some help with becoming a thane of Falkreath so i can build my first home in hearthfire. I have sold cabbages to the farmer mear the grave yard and completeed the Werewolf quest. I cannot find anything else to do to become a thane. I'm preety sure it doesn't matter but I let the wereworlf live and took the ring and hunted down and caught the great beast. If you have any ideas at all please give then here.

Ask the Jarl for work, you'll have to kill a giant or something.

Same here. Ive done pretty much every quest offered in Falkreath but he still wont let me buy the deed.

if you type "skyrim wiki becoming thane" into google it will give you instructions for each hold but i think you have too get a drink and kill some bandits for the yarl before he'll offer thane to you.

alternitivly if you capture that hold in the civil war quest line the new jarl will offer the thane quest stright away (stormclock questline in civil war)

Thanks guys I jsut found out you donb't have to be thane to buy the land

You need to help some hunters in a cave, the werewolf quest, some other quest I don't remember and bring som Black-Briar mead to the jarl :P
