how do i look at the front of my cherecter ?
how do i look at the front of my cherecter when im in third person ?

Turn the camera while not having weapons at the ready. Do you really need to ask such a simple question?

sorry lol i havent played the game in months and i just done it myself anyway by pressing 'g' then moving the mouse

Another method you could try, is to open the console and type "TFC", or TFC 1".
TFC will detatch the camera, letting you look at your character at any angle you wish, from any distence, or even just let you look around. TFC 1 will do all that, but also freeze time as well, allowing you to get the camera into that perfect spot for screen shots without having to worry about losing your chance for a shot, or something eating you before you're done

I just stand still for a few minutes then the camera pans around me so I can see how I look. I wish that part was like Oblivion and Morrowind where you could see your character from the front by pressing the skills/equipment menu.

Why when going into 3'rd person via the F key does the same job? lol

Because there are camera angles you cannot achieve with third person mode.

And even less in the Oblivion tab menu screen, which is what I was reponding to. if you really want more camera angles, TFC/TFC 1 is the way to go lol
