Facelifting mods are okay for me, but those that add make-up and all that other stuff that makes them look like barbie dolls are unnecessary.
It's the beauty of single player, people can do what they like to make it fun for them
and so can you.
But it is pretty funny to look at the skyrim screenshots on steam, 50% of them are female body mods of one kind or another. I think "Ultra hot superstar pornstar chick" doesn't belong in skyrim. I could see having 1 or 2 ultra-hot girls, like a daughter of a Jarl or something along those lines. But the average hardened nord woman isnt going to be a drop dead model. Maybe just very fit.
So, I think Skyrim is about right.. .. and it's a major improvement over Oblivion, holy crap. Women in Oblivion look very manly.
As for Morrowind, they didn't have enough polygons pushing power to really make women "attractive" back in those days, so it doesn't count. You were lucky to get more than 10 polygons to make a boob just so you can distinguish between the 2 genders. :D
I haven't played major video games in 10 years. What the heck have I missed?
I'm not sure if the new package release on Oblivion and Morrowind updates the graphics. Does anybody here know about it? My friend keeps telling me to buy Oblivion, but I'm hooked on Skyrim right now.
One of the beautiful parts of Skyrim is the modability. If you like ugly women and men you can have them. There is beauty in that option of choice.
From a realism stand point. Considering that there are DRAGONS, I think pretty women in skimpy armor is no big deal. In real life, I've seen many pretty women, but no dragons.
And also, I think you forgot that Skyrim is a game. Take a step back, don't think about it too much, and enjoy yourself.
I've already had loads of fun without playing with the aesthetics. Why can't we get new dialogue instead?
