Seriously a workshop collections recommendation?
Can someone seriously recommend a workshops collection for Skyrim and not just give me links to a couple random mods on Nexus. Thank you.

Can't recommend any as I don't use the things myself. These look fairly innocuous though.

Different people like different mods. As we do not know your type of gameplay recommendations are difficult. Have you actually played the vanilla version yet?

But what if that IS my recommendation?

I believe, in general, the nexus is jam-packed with a ton more mods than the workshop, and there's quite a few that aren't allowed on the workshop for content or size reasons. There are mods on the nexus that are roughly two dozen times larger than the limit allowed on steam's workshop. I generally use the workshop for simple, small mods, such as speeding up vanilla horses, patches, and basic texture fixes.
There's nice stuff on both platforms, there's just things each has that you won't find on the other, they're both very much worth looking into.

Truth is, though, that after awhile you'll get to the point that you'll have a massive mod list that's impossible to manage. NMM at least makes a good choice on the fact it uninstalls mod files after itself when you remove them (unlike the workshop), so is handy to work with.

Personally I find that most mods I'd like are already on the Nexus, though I have at least ten or twelve (of 106) on the Workshop currently that can't be found anywhere else, and that's fine with me.

Wyrmstooth is a cool mod from the workshop.
