Blue textures glitch
I have this problem:

http://www.img.ie/kzgie.jpg

I am playing with lowest possible settings. Graphic card: GEFORCE 8500 GT

Can anyone help? I've already downloaded the driver update, no help. I am not using any mod, only the DLC and the SKYUI user interface utility

Nice...at least the RGB texture map is on it haha....

It looks like your Graphics card is outdated sir...as the minimum requirements clearly show 8800...sorry bud but that might be your problem:/

Graphics cards are like, what, £60 or so?...get a GTX in your next investment :)

No....dude, I found it..you just jumped on the back of it...

Really? You sound like a kid whining " I saw it first!"
My remark was simply stating that's what his issue is. I couldn't care less about your post, or that you already said it.

Please, stop bickering... I have already played several times with the same card without any problems, it is a new problem!

Check the card, it might have overheated itself. Or any components failed. Run furmark if you're in doubt, as that push the card to the limit and try to identify the problem. However with such an old card I would suggest a replacement instead.

Tried that, no results. It's a software problem, not hardware. By the way, I am buying a new PC in a couple of months and I do not want to spend money on a PC that I will throw away soon.

To optimize quality, and to allow for cashflow (we don't always suddenly obtain thousands of pounds overnight) It's best to build a PC, introducing the new components as you save up for them. That way, you can afford to buy the most expensive components a bit at a time....and result in a better PC than just going down to a major retailer and buying some packaged crap.

If you don't know how to build a PC, get the PC Shop to build it for you..Go have a chat, tell them what you desire, and work out a plan with them..most smaller PC outlets have a workshop for repairs, and they also build PC's for People...over time...

You certainly won't be throwing it away once it's built, that's for sure :)

The problem is that my motherboard is quite old, any component compatible with that would not work with the uber-computer I want to build soon... By the way, I tried several other games and the textures WORK. It's a software problem, not hardware.

Oh, you know the problem...ok..Good luck fixing it then bud..Take care.

Are you familiar with the concept of "not speaking unless you have something constructive and sensate to add to the discussion"?

You may want to do a full clean reinstall of the latest NVIDIA Driver, not just updating it. Remove and use utility like Driversweeper to fully purge the old driver before installing the latest. If that does not fix it, your DirectX might be corrupted. You may want to do a clean install of your OS. Usually you always have your OS on a different drive so you can format and reinstall without touching other softwares.

You have tried other games, however they are graphically intensive or not you do not provide. Have you actually run furmark and push your GPU to the limit? Yes, it is only a performance benchmark but if you push it to the limit and problem arises then it's hardware.

Thanks, Boom, I did that and it worked. My old graphic card hated the new Nvidia drivers.
