steam being slow
is anyone else having trouble with steam not responding after exiting a game?

Having trouble using Steam for the past year....seems like it's always having problems and limping along like some Lame donkey.....

It takes like forever to sync, but actually stop responding - nope. I assume you've checked for updates?

Sometimes it'll fail to load unless I restart my computer, other than that it's fine for me-

They are undergoing a visual overhaul too, with new interface features, so that is going to be disruptive for a while while they mess with that,.....

VEEERY slow Steam here as well, doesn't appear to be my internet connection (900kbps roughly at home, nearly 50mbps wifi at the college), both loaded at the same speed

Yep, I just mentioned a major cause at the moment...but to be honest, I think they need a more powerful infrastructure, because the one they are using now seems to be sagging under the weight of all their users on over crowded servers....

Yes, most of the time will not sync and only getting 10 to 12kb/s download on wifi that can download at 500mb/s
