Steam error 2 in Skyrim start menu
Hello i got a problem if i start skyrim and they loading my modds a error is comming everytime.

Error
Failed to download a subscribed file! Steam error 2

hope someone can help me =)

that just means a mod failed to load into the game file, try verifying your game Cache, you can still play the game that mod just wont be included, also if you could go into your Data files and see what the load order looks like all your ESM's need to be on the top of the list and all ESP's below them, other then that it may just be a steam error and it may work later on

I have the same problem, i have checked and all the esp's were already below the esm's and it still won't work

Wow! Grimus, I have never had any of those just the usual error 80 and error 15. Maybe I should the fixes for these too in my how to fix, do list.

So how do we reorder the data files because I found mine but I'm not really sure how to reset the order?

ahh cool thank you for that information but how can this happen it is help if i delet the mod and load it again?

I wouldn't. While you are waiting to sort your "error 2" out you could d/l LOOT (Load Order Optimization Tool) and NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) or NMO (Nexus Mod Organizer). Learn to use them to manage and sort your mods. LOOT will also analyse you load order and report errors.
All 3 utilities provide valuable information that can make modding more successful, less painful, and more TESV fun.
