I can't say I'm just floored. I liked Dawnguard and Dragonborn and most of the features they added in. What I would really like instead of new DLC is upgrades of existing content, especially horse combat mechanics. They did give us the Creation Kit, and that's gone a long way into my enjoyment of the game, I think much more than new gamespaces ever did.

To be perfectly honest, I'd much rather they offer sets of areas, weapons, objects and creatures at lower-than-DLC costs that the community could use for modding the existing game, but they're busy with TESO.

I was really looking forward towards a quest that continued the civil war questline. I wanted to see what would happen depending on which side you chose.

Instead, I got nothing but some vampire-lord who sits on his butt until I go kill him, and some very, very, VERY old Dragonborn who seems to not have spent his time in a realm of pure knowledge planning his return. How droll.

I wanted more Skyrim, of course. But I keep thinking about Fallout 4 and everything is OK.

Eh. There's about the same amount of worthwhile DLC for Skyrim as there was for Oblivion...

Dawnguard looks to be about as big as Nights of the Nine and the quests for Mehrunes' Razor, and the Orrery put together.

Dragonborn's definitely larger than The Shivering Isles, in terms of questing.

Hearthfire takes the place of the DLC homes. Nowhere near as useful, though, and certainly less content overall compared to the Oblivion housing.

Spell Tomes are in the base game, so no need for DLC for that.

And we're all glad there's no Horse Armor DLC for Skyrim. :P

I wish they had more map DLC's if you could add Cyrodil as a map and give the player the ability to wage war on the Aldmeri Dominion in Cyrodil and to rbuild the province to it's former glory that would be epic, and include familiar places from the Oblivion game like Anvil and the Imperial city as well as decendants from some of the Oblivion characters and have some remnants of the Oblivion Crisis mabye a few crumbled Oblivion gates overgrown with shrubs and flowers to indicate the passing of time, this would make the series seem so much more real as you hardly hear about the Oblivion Crisis in the vanilla game cept in books and loading screens

That's exactly what I was talking about ARmodder. New provinces, and a continuation of the civil war. Wouldn't it have been epic if the Dragonborn ends up becoming Emperor of Tamriel? God damn I would've loved that.

if you applied this to all the previous games you'd have a real sense of continuity and make it feel like a story that takes place over the corse of 1000 years or however many years the game spans

If we could get enough map/land modders, quest modders, faction and armor/weapons modders as well as scripters together and form a cohesive team we could make several mods each containing a different aspect of the Mod/DLC we have one mod containing the map of Cryodil one containing the cities and towns (two of these if needed) and one with quests and factions as well as an optional weapons of Cyrodil mod, I believe it can be done although it would be a longgg time to complete, someone needs to start this right away, Now I cant mod worth a damn but i am great with coming up with ideas

I am starting a Discussion for this as we speak feel free to post any ideas on it and any modders that are interested in this idea are encouraged to post as well I think we are onto something here, thanks for starting this thread!!

I was hoping for an arena dlc.

Kind of... I mean, we do still have Mods, but yeah... I'm a little sad we won't have anymore official DLC.

Well, they are making a MMO. I think they're allowed to stop development of the single-player game. Honestly, though, Skyrim is one of the first games in the Elder Scroll series I think would have benefited from some multiplayer.
