Please help. Any feedback wanted! :)
I have a console, but want to move to PC however, i know nothing of computers. Could you recommend an affordable (£800max) set-up (desktop or notebook) that could run games like this. Thank you :)

Get a PC with a descent video card and good memory. Laptops have shared memeory and usually crash or become lagged out. Pick something with a good refresh rate and make sure your monitor has a good one too. Video freezes are bad. You can always start out the game in options and set everything to the lowest setting first and then move it up in incriments to see what it will handle. I have a built machine (high end) and I do not have any issues, but no everyone can afford the machine I have. Some computer stores have stress-testing software so you can see how good the video card is.
Don't bother with GT Graphics cards, the ones you want are labelled GTX.....they are superior...

DO NOT get Windows 8....go for 7 or Vista....more compatible...(I use XP and have a Dual Core processor, Quad Core Processor is more powerful, but mine is fine if I just upgrade the other components).

For system requirements (Your retailer can help you if you show the staff menber this):

Recommended specifications for Skyrim:

Minimum Specs

Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
Processor: Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent processor
2GB System RAM
6GB free HDD Space
Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM
DirectX compatible sound card
Internet access for Steam activation

Recommended Specs (<--Try to get this)

Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
4GB System RAM
6GB free HDD space
DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher).
DirectX compatible sound card
Internet access for Steam activation

If you make sure your components can run the high end demands for the game, then you will be pretty comfy with any game.

PLUS
If you have saved up 800...I strongly advise you to try to push it to as far above 1000 as you can...just an extra 25% of your total at LEAST...to give you a little more wriggle room.

800 is gonna be tight.....

800 is gonna be alright, save for Windows. If you already have a Windows version you want to use, 800 is plenty. Best if you can get a friend that lives in your country to help you with building a set up, since it's kinda hard to know the prices in other countries.
I'd recommend an Intel i-5 CPU, a Geforce 560ti or something and 8gb RAM, since that doesn't cost much anyway. The other components don't really matter for running the game smoothly. RAM only matters when there's not enough of it and having 8gb is good enough.
