Its fine. follow the very Simple instructions or look up Gopher on youtube for a video on how. You will be set. All you need is to put them in the folder location of your skyrim.exe make a shortcut and open skyrim from there.

SKSE allows more kinds of mods to be created, why would that be bad for new players?
Banchou May 17, 2013 @ 6:16am
Yeah. SKSE is good for new and old players alike.

I think it's good, unless you want to quote unquote experience the game how the devlopers intended it.

I have no problem ignoring that.

yup get SKSE and SkyUI and you will be a happier person.

it's not about if it's good, it's about if you need it

Are you asking if it's easy to install or should you install it being new to the game? If the latter, well it depends on the mods you need SKSE for.

Yup... Type "Gophersvids" into the YouTube search. Goto his modding channel. He has all sorts of videos. Many of them cover new mods and show how to install them. Others cover the fundamental modding accessories like SKSE, BOSS, Wrye Bash, TES5Edit, etc. Great channel!

PS - I've never seen any problems with SKSE, it's the mods that use it that usually cause the problems. =)

SKSE alone won't change anything for you, so unless you for whatever reason need it there's no reason to bother with it.

If you're planning on modding Skyrim a lot then yeah you should pick it up.
