People hatin'
I went to riften on my way to fort dawnguard, and this dragon attacked. we killed it off, but my final blow at the dragon hit some fool from the meadery and people got hostile. i sheathed my weapon, but nothing happened so i ran off down to fort dawnguard. now everyone hates me here as well, even the isra, and noone accepts my yield.
so i ran a little off, waited 48 hours, went back, still haytin. what do??

i have a serious bounty on me in solitude (6k+) and i killed some black briar mercs i found in a cabin in the woods. would his apply to why the dawnguard hates me? if so, shouldn't there be a way to have them not chase me so i can fully appreciate the product i've bought? it seems redicilous that a main storyline should be blocked without warning for minor player mistakes....
there should be an option that has npc saying ,why u hit me then dragonborn will say because ur in my way ♥♥♥♥♥!!!

I don't know the fix maybe wait longer or find a riften guard who isn't in town such as out at one of the farms. They may ID you but let you surrender and pay your fine.
I dislike how we get blamed for the townies death when they ran infront of us. They're too dense to think the guy in the Daedric Armor with the Flaming/Freezing Sword may have a better chance of taking out the bad guys then they do with their iron daggoer and merchant's clothes.

lol true.

people in riften seemed to ok though, but i suspect the DG people are connected with the sods up in solitude, which attack me on sight. how do i make them not attack me on sight, to pay my debt\got to prison\whatev?

pay off your bounties

If you commit a crime in one hold it does not count in another hold. For example you could kill several people in one hold but all the other holds would ignore this and the bounty would only be payable to the hold where the event occured. To go back later and surrender to a town guard you may have to draw a weapon and then resheath it (without hitting anyone) before they stop attacking you.

Alternatively you can stay out in the wildrness for a week and a bounty hunter will come along and you can pay him the bounty. You are then free to return. Of course you have to have the money to pay the bounty hunter.

When a gaurd approaches quickly bring out your weapon then sheathe it. I had gaurds that would chase me and wouldn't accept my surrender until I showed my weapon and then put it away. Then they would talk to me to either give myself up or pay the bounty.

It's Riften... You know that place is full of filthy scrubs. You hit him and he saw a chance to put a lawsuit on the dragonborn!

Keep in mind that TES is Not gta, killing mercs, and civvies can have drastic repercussions.

and be glad it's not morrowind. they even hate you when you join a faction.

actually, that was one of the things i loved about morrowind. in skyrim the guards still think that you fetch the mead as a harbinger.
