Freezes at loading screen. What can i do?

Hey guys!

I usually monitor the skyrim forum and help out when i can, peeps with problems with their game, and now im the one needing help.

I have a pretty modded skyrim with a 150+ mods that have runned smoothly until now.

I have been starting too get these freezes at loading screen. Not a uncommon prob it seems. This usually happens when loading my quick save game. I just press "Contignue" in game meny. During loading screen pc works for a few secs then nothing and a infinite loading screen.

I have tried too verify the game cache, and steam said it was one file missing thats gona be reaquired. But this hasnt solved the problem.
Strange this is that the game loads with a previous save, a auto save for example.

Sry for this long ranting, but has anyone any good strategies for this prob? Or a good fix page i can read on?

So other game saves load without a problem, just your most recent quick save? If so, the quick save may be corrupt.

Have you added or deleted any mods between the Auto save and your Quick save? If so then it would probably be a mod conflict.

@Frank. In my case, i think it was a corrupt savegame. I loaded a earlier save that worked, saved on a new file and loaded it up again. When it worked i pressed F5 too quick save, for the overwrite. And during that process i actvated a mod, that might had been the problem to. There was a alteration on my character.

Attention to everyone having frozen infinite loading screen, use this little mod to fix it:

It fixed the problem for me and the game runs flawlessly now! And the weird thing is that few people know about this. Bunch of people have been frustrated about infinite loading screen and found this mod just by luck. It should be the most important mod featured on front page of nexus website! Hope it solves your problem too (Install it manually or by using Nexus Mod Manager).

I had the same problem the day after I downloaded the Pet Mudcrab. I try to load my game, and the loading seems to freeze/lag up. I honestly have not a clue what's causing it.
