Skyrim installation
I bought skyrim of ebay and installed it on a disc but now it isnt on steam so I can't get any updates or add ons. how would I make steam know i bought skyrim. (this isn't a torrented version).

Every legit game is activated on Steam. Period.

You can buy Skyrim from anywhere on the planet. Every legit version will be activated on Steam, whether you like it or not. If your game does not activate on Steam, it is not a legit version of the game.

Nope, he's right. It should have asked you to register the game with Steam when you installed it. What you have sounds like a bogus copy.

Might want to have a chat with the seller and ebay.

@alduin777: My apologies for being a bit too... abrasive. Skyrim only comes through Steam. If your copy does not work with Steam, I am afraid that you have been had.
