its from some one who is a follower or a main charater
Alkpaz 11. maj 2013 kl. 2:40pm
Think he/she is talking about The Blades pointing him/her to different locations for shouts.
Stoob 11. maj 2013 kl. 4:54pm
My thinking was that it can't be the Blades, as the courier says it is a 'he' that is sending the letters, so that rules out Delphine. Esburn didn't know there was a current Dragonborn when you meet him, so that rules him out. Not sure who else it would be.

EDIT:

Was just thinking, Arngier? But how would he get a letter out? Anyhoo...

could it be from the graybeards?
Jogon 11. maj 2013 kl. 10:43pm
As it usually relates to Shouts and where to find a wall it is from the Greybeards. It is usually a reference to a shout made and where to find something of interest.

If you side with the greybeards you get shout locations from talking to them. If you side with Blades they go dragon hunting.

Well if nothing else, I'm glad the response wasn't "What? You didn't realise <person> was the friend? But it was so obvious..." hehe.

maby it is people who you know like balgruuf or his house carl

Baalgruf admits to not knowing a lot about the Dragonborn/Greybeards. Irileth just wouldn't make any sense.

but he says he made the 7000 step pilgrimage before

perhaps it is parrthunax the dragon gray beard
Stoob 12. maj 2013 kl. 2:59am
Personally, I don't think it would make sense for it to be the Jarl or his steward. You continue to get the letters if you join the Stormcloaks and de-throne him.

The courier might mention that.... :)

"Ah a letter, not sure who from. A big winged lizard fella it was."

Anyway, Greybeards it is. Only ones that makes sense really.
