So many bugs, glitches, and just problems I'm having
Ive been playing this game for a long time, but up until recently when im wandering around in the open world or even in a dungeon, i get so many glitches. For example, I'll be walking on land then all of a sudden it will glitch il be swimming instead of walking, and the audio gets all studdery whenever it happens. The water never looks like water I just see pixalation, and just see all the water to the bottom as if there is no water. When i wander around in dungeons, my character will literally jump up and out of the tunnel without any notice, and then instantly appear on the ground, as in i "break" through the ceiling of solid mountain and just float around then smack back to the ground. When I was playin this game bout 6months ago I never had any problem like this, game ran beautifully and it was on a lower performance video card at that. It seems as if the physics are just completly off or something and im not sure what the situation is. Has anyone ever encountered an issue like this? would love some thought.

hmm - i will thow some ideas out, but having your system specs will help us alot in healping you out :)

A few things come to mind - mods being the first. Do you have lots of mods? maybe there are some clashes..?

If you have not already, delete (or at least disable) all mods and do a full reinstall...delete everything (apart from yours save games of course) and start fresh...if thats all good, just add one or 2 mods back at a time...

without knowing if its hardware related i am not sure what else to try, apart from lowering the graphics settings?

Good luck mate :)

Today I returned to College of Winterhold to my room to find bed, wardrobes chairs and barrels completely missing. On checking, all the rooms in the college were missing these items. The library was also missing all the bookshelves and locked cupboards.
Went to Breezehome all bought pieces of furniture/fixtures missing INCLUDING Lydia's fully furnished room wall and doors, gone!
Had not altered my system in any way or changed mods I have been using for months. Steam updated yeserday.
The only thing I can put it down to is I used a named samegame which suddenly popped up something I knew nothing about aove the named save and I pressed enter. Stupid of me I know but surprised it had such a far reaching effect. Had to drop back down two levels to get rid of this anomaly as I'm not knowledgable about altering gameplay. Bugger !!

reinstalling your os will have an effect so will installing a new gpu , delete you skyrim prefs.ini .located in you docs folder ,my games , skyrim . then launch the game you should get the settings options window where the game sets its options , try it see what happens , if its still bad , run verify game cache , library, right click skyrim , select properties, local files , verify
