I'm looking for an interesting and fun character to play.
I've been playing Skyrim since it's realease back in November of 2011 and regretably it has become rather dull. I'm trying to find a unique build that will renew the fun factor that Skyrim is supposed to have. I am a very roleplay-oriented player and my characters tend to have complex personalities and motives and I use countless mods to enhance the experience. Finally, here's a list of all the characters I've played so far (at least the ones I can remember).

-Redguard One Handed Warrior (Eventually turned into an Assassin)
-Nord Two Handed Warrior
-Wood Elf Thief (With a little bit of Assassin mixed in)
-Khajiit Pure Assassin
-Wood Elf Assassin/Thief
-Nord Battlemage (Eventually turned into a Pure Mage)

There are several more, but those are the ones that stand out in my mind. The most fun I've ever had with any of those was easily the Khajiit Assassin (in spite of it being on the Xbox). I would do another Assassin, but I'm rather tired of them since I've done so many of them.

So if anyone could provide some insight and give me some ideas, that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

breton vampire who is dedicated on turning all the people of skyrim into vampires too. use brendons vampire overhall or something. his name will be jon northwind, he was from daggerfall, but then went to hammerfall cuz of rumours that there was many ritches it in one of the sunken citys. vamp was inside, he got bit, but burned it with a torch. then heads off too cyrodill and gets captured. gets shiped off to morrowind [morrowind.} then goes too expadition to akavir but ship crashes. heads back to imperial city gets captured again[oblivion} then goes to skyrim for a new life. will most likley use a one handed and magic.

Not a bad idea, my friend. I've actually never played a vampire character before (or a generally evil one for that matter). I'll look into it.

note: he is not nessicarly evil..

he could just want his people to be seen as a true people.

Play Morrowind, or a different game.

true...skyrim is the worst for roleplaying. BUT you can mod it to perfection like i have.

you can mod morrowind as well, in fact the CS for morrowind nd oblivion are both more user friendly than the skyrim CS

Summoner Warrior
Focus on:
Conjuration: Summoning weapons. Creatures too, daedra are better than undead becuase you don't need a corpse first.
Heavy Armor or Light Armor
Enchant: Summoned weapons will automatically trap souls after a specific perk.
Alteration: if armor isn't working alone, which is very possible.
Weapon proficiency based on what weapon you summon.
Use enchantments that make conjuration spells cost less to cast.
The point of this build is to make an exeptionally magical warrior without playing as a standard warrior or mage or a mix of both.
Conjuration will level up very quickly. If you don't supplement your bound weapon with creatures of some sort you will find many of the fights to be beyond you, even if you are supposed to be equal in level to what you are fighting.
Enchant is annoyingly essential for any mix class, as it can make certain skills much more powerful.

Frostfall and Imp's More Complex Needs or Realistic Needs and Diseases, plus Become a Bard, reinvigorated me for quite a while. Surviving the cold, needing to strategise to survive not just combat, but the environment makes for a new gameplay. I also used an alternate start mod and am now on about level 30 and still don't have the dragon questline started. It's nice to build my own backstory for BEFORE becoming Dragonborn.

I was very amused by the series of articles written by the guy who had a go at playing as a pure Illusionist, but that is more of an amusement than something I would want to play for hours.

by battle mage do you mean a palidan? Heavy armor(most people use Dwarvan) and a mace/sword then healing magic in the other hand.

Ok so my friend made this set up its called "The Train". You may only use-
1. a sheild of your choice
2. heavy armor
3. conjuration magic
4. restoration magic
Your limits are-
1. you MUST ALWAYS have a sheild equiped
2. you map NEVER use conjured weapons
3. no punching (or scatching)
4. You may ONLY shout when necessary (quests)
5. no transformations (werewolf/werebear/vampirelord)
Its more of a challenge but still its fun to try.

Try the live another life mod on skyrim nexus. That's what I use, and it's really made the game fun again. Start off as a Forsworn, or shipwrecked, or even robbed by highwaymen. ;) (There are 15 or so different starts. :) Roleplay your heart out! :) )
